Welcome to the International Women’s Club of Lausanne The IWC of Lausanne connects English-speaking women of all nationalities and encourages their interest in social, sporting, charitable and cultural endeavours. We are a non-political, non-denominational, non-commercial, and non-profit making association entirely run by volunteers. We help our fellow members who come to live in this beautiful area to settle in, by providing fun, friendship and support. Make your time here unforgettable. |
Who are we?Originally founded in 1968, the IWC Lausanne is a thriving Club for women residing in the canton of Vaud and beyond. It brings together over 200 members of all nationalities and cultures to promote friendship, and together, to engage in social, sporting, charitable and cultural endeavours. Our members enjoy many activities ranging from Art Appreciation, International Cooking, Wine Meet-Ups, Literature & Book Groups, Language Conversation Groups, Pickleball, Downhill Skiing, Mountain Hiking, and many more.
In addition, we have regular coffee & apéro meet-ups, monthly meetings with a guest speaker and annual events too. Come and join us and start a new activity group, we are always looking for new members and new ideas. |
