Topic & Agenda: Volunteering
The IWC as a fully volunteer run organisation is pleased to announce that The International Link, the English-speaking service of the Vaud Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be at the Clubhouse to tell us about the range of other local organisations who need volunteers, and how you can become a volunteer and help. Benevolat Vaud will also be informing us of the different aspects and possibilities of volunteering, with possibly one or two personal experiences of IWC Members who regularly volunteer. The meeting will be followed by a cocktail.
9.15 to 9.30 – Welcome coffee and cake.
10.00 to 11.30 – Presentation.
12.00 to 13.00 – Cocktail.
We ask for a participation fee of CHF 15.- per person towards the cocktail and registration will be confirmed after collection of this amount, either paid to:

Mr. Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, ex-CEO of the Nestle Group in Vevey to come and give a talk about his new book “Ascensions.”
Doris Oberholzer, Certified Chakra Healing Technician and Certified FACE YOGA method teacher from Just D.O Face Yoga. Subject: The theme of the Masterclass: “Activate your Power of Transformation” and how to look and feel 10 years younger with the three steps formula: REVERSE the aging process, REGENERATE at cell level and REINFORCE durably.

Journalist and Author: Clare O’Dea. This was Part 1 of the “IWC celebrates 50 years of Women’s Suffrage in Switzerland”. Subject: lecture and book talk ,“Voting Day”, “about 1959 when Swiss women’s right to vote is turned down at the ballot with 67% of Swiss men against”!
