Silent Walking Meditation

About this event :

walking meditationWalking Meditation – Silent Walk
Tuesday 16 May (raindate Thursday 18 May), 09:00

It’s time for our Silent Walk again!

Walking can be used as a form of moving meditation, which gives some of the benefit of seated meditation, but without the need to sit still for long periods.

We will take a 2.5 hour SILENT walk in the countryside, trying out a couple of different ways to focus the mind, as well as a short standing meditation.

You need to be able to comfortably walk at a good pace for about 2.5 hours in order to benefit from this. All phones switched off fully, no dogs, no talking at all.

Walk begins about 09:00 – the location (Vaud or Valais) to be announced closer to the date, but access will be by car. The walk is free of charge and open to all.
