IWC Monthly Meeting November
About this event :
Sugar – one of the most controversial foodstuff in our kitchen. A carbohydrate or toxic chemical; an excuse for obesity or the cause; much maligned or a natural ingredient? This month’s speaker Jonathan Kingsman, a veteran of the sugar trading community, will present facts about the sugar industry it’s history, environmental and social impact, how the product is traded and priced and how governments can intervene in the pricing and trading of the product.
IWC Monthly Meetings are a great opportunity to meet up with your IWC friends and fellow members you may not see regularly while hearing what’s happening in and around the club. Introduce new ideas, raise any concerns or opinions.

The Restaurant du Prieuré is easily accessible and a short walk from Pully Gare. Bus numbers 4, 25 to Pully Gare or numbers 9, 47, 48. 49 to Pully Clergère. Parking available at Coop, Migros and Pully Gare.
