Departing from Martigny with the Mont Blanc Express we will cross the wild Trent Gorge ascending to breathtaking heights. Towards Chamonix you will see waterfalls crashing down and majestic mountain crags rising in the background. Shady forests alternate with cosy villages, ultimately giving way to the grandiose glacier of Mont Blanc.

On arriving in Chamonix the group will take a 20 minute cable car ride to the Aiguille du Midi with terraces offering a 360° view of the French, Swiss and Italian Alps. The terrace is at a height of 3842 metres and is the closest you can get to the Mont Blanc without climbing.

There will be time for a light lunch at the Summit 3842 Cafe before returning to Chamonix to catch the Mont Blanc Express back to Martigny.
